MSL are delighted that Adeel Bashir is joining the company as an Apprentice Accounts Assistant.
Nurturing young people to develop their skills is a responsibility MSL takes seriously, not only for the benefit of our apprentices but also the business, as it allows them to build their careers whilst becoming an essential member of the team, giving them a great understanding of what we do.
After successfully undertaking a month’s work experience placement, MSL were very pleased with his enthusiasm and willingness to learn that we offered Adeel an apprenticeship within the Accounts Dept. Adeel is already finding enough to keep him busy and starting to undertake other finance duties. As he gains more knowledge and experience he will start working with the wider Accounts teams.
Like other apprentices in Calderdale, Adeel will spend one day a week at Bradford College. His L2 Accounting Apprenticeship will take 12-16months to complete and will include a L2 AAT qualification.
Starting an apprenticeship can be a big change, so we wanted to find out how Adeel has been finding his experience at MSL so far. We were pleased to hear that he is getting his feet under the table and enjoying his new role. He said “Staff in the Accounts dept are very helpful, warm and professional. There is a lot to take in at first but with the colleagues guidance you soon pick it up and any questions I have are soon answered”.
Jeremy Harrison, Managing Director said “MSL is a growing business and it needs skilled young people to support its development, we‘re really pleased to welcome Adeel to the team and support him as he undertakes his apprenticeship”.
