Two teams, Two exercise bikes, Two Charities
On Friday 4th May 2018, MSL employees were racing in two teams to complete the 190km stage 4 of the Tour De Yorkshire from Halifax to Leeds.
We are raising money towards MSL’s £10,000 fundraising target for 2018 as we celebrate our 10th year and for this challenge supporting two charities: Parkinsons UK and Cancer Research.
The end results were that Team Naveed crossed the line first in 6hrs 39mins, quickly followed by Team Adele 6hrs 44mins ! Considering the professionals do this stage of the Tour de Yorkshire in around 5hrs 30mins we think that we did a pretty good job (albeit without the inconvenience of hills !!)
In addition to the competition, our operations director, Andy Thomson, made a fantastic BBQ which raised additional funds for the charities with donations from MSL staff.
